• Core Logic of Dedicated Fall Detection Algorithm: Valid signals are filtered through preset thresholds: the barometer first identifies falls by detecting “sudden height drops ≥50cm”; the gyroscope then verifies imbalance by confirming “body tilt angle ≥45° sustained for over 2 seconds”; finally, the accelerometer confirms collision by registering “instantaneous impact force ≥0.5g”. A fall is determined only after cross-validation of all three data points.
• Environment and Motion Filtering Mechanism: The algorithm incorporates a database of daily activities to distinguish falls from normal actions like bending over, sitting down, or climbing stairs. It employs a three-dimensional judgment rule—“Displacement – Posture – Impact Force”—to eliminate false triggers in non-fall scenarios.
• Alarm Triggering Process: Upon meeting fall criteria, the alarm activates immediately with a 10-second cancellation window. Users may terminate false alarms via button press; otherwise, the system automatically sends alerts and location data to preset contacts.
